What I've been up to

This week I finished two Blocks of the Month for my guild

Just in time for my MIL's birthday, I made her an asymmetrical charm quilt with embroidered tracings of my children's (her grandchildren's) hands

Here's one set of hands (my son's)

If I get any time tonight, I will work on sewing the binding down on Triple Rail Fence.

Happy Sewing!

So special to see those hands. When my grands were little, I dipped their feet in finger paints and printed them on our mudroom wall by the shoes, it was so neat to see those cute little tootsies as they grew up! Those little hands will last forever!

Hi! Thanks for linking up at BOMs AWAY. Your mother is going to *love* the children's hands on the quilt! Marvelous idea.
