My D9P miniquilt

I love finishing things, even if they don't turn out the way I anticipated. I am happy with the results on this one. It is just for me. I didn't measure or pin, except when making the quilt sandwich. Too many accidents with pins, one in the foot is one too many, and we have a baby running around now.

Isabel's doll quilt

I love the way it turned out, this one was so quick and easy, a break from the more difficult projects I've tackled lately

Disappearing Nine Patch

Here is my attempt at a mini one, this is the "before" and then the "after"

Saturday Evening Post (I always wanted to write that)

ok, that's out of my system! nancy, are you reading this?

Gina, are you still around? please email me! you haven't blogged in forever, I hope everything is ok.

The baby is asleep, dinner is half done (the bread salad part), and the Italian sausage is cooking on the stove, i have time to blog. To meet my goal of becoming a better quilter this year, I've signed up for another class, this one is a disappearing 9 patch. I found a great tutorial on Rachel Griffith's blog, go check it out, hers looks great www.psiquilt.com. I'm taking a local class cause it is so much fun to connect with other quilters and make something at the same time.

Happy Easter!
