Paper piecing class

I had the opportunity to attend a paper piecing class today that was taught by my guild. I love the precision of that method. The instructor was great, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I learned what a wooden iron is, and how to use an Add a Quarter ruler. I'm so glad I went. I even saw snow flurries outside the window when I got up to iron my block. It was a lovely day.

I love paper piecing. I find ripping the paper from the done block very therapeutic

Couldn't email you with the answer to the picture on the top of my blog as you came up as no reply. The castle is Caerphilly Castle in the South Wales Valleys. It's in the centre of the town I live in.
